Some big news for me lately is that i'm going to be in a show, with a bunch of amazing artists! I'm so honored to be a part of this show, since so many people involved have inspired me for some time! I owe HUGE thanks to Mr. Craig Harris for asking me to be part of the first show from the Nomad Gallery! (please check out his work, his girls make me drool!) If you're in the LA area on the 19th of September, stop by! buy prints! Have fun! (also i have three signed framed prints that you can buy there, nudge nudge)

I graduated from the Art Institute of Boston in May of 2009 with a BFA in illustration. I was born and raised just outside of Boston Massachusetts, but someday i would love to travel to new places and go where the action is! I spend Most of my time sketchbooking, a process that has made me grow as an artist immensely over the years, and i hope in the years to come i will grow even more. Mostly my work is done with copic and Tria markers, on bristol board, with digital backgrounds. Though my degree is in Illustration, i hope someday to break into the animation industry.
There are a lot of things that inspire my art. Mainly there are four ingriedients for a Tracy Lee Quinn drawing, cheesecake, fashion, history, and color four things i have always adored! I've always enjoyed drawing sexy girls for as long as i can remember, i love working with shapes and i find that some of the most exciting shapes are found on women. Fashion has been a big part of my life, i love it, what else can i say? When i'm not working on my art, i spend most of my time writing, baking or reading, i have music playing at all times in my life, bacause for me it's the greatest inspiration. I
Please feel free to contact me with any questions and comments, i would love to hear what you have to say!

When it comes to drawing girls, I think some of my main sources of inspirations come from the old Gag pin-ups in girlie digests, of the 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s. Artists like Bill Wenzel, Don Flowers, Jack Cole and Dan Decarlo .They have always been a huge inspiration to me. As well as feeding my love for all things vintage, these artists have found a way of focusing on that female savvy in a funny, sexy way.

There is something that has always fascinated me about the power of a confident, sexy woman. The role of the femme fatale, alluring, mysterious, and dangerously seductive. She is as old as time. From Eve, to Delilah, Cleopatra, the Sirens of ancient Greece, Ishtar and Helen of Troy, these women have always had their places in the pages of mythology and history, and have always been a popular subject in art and literature. So, as I see it I am following in a long tradition of artists, writers and all around creators who have gone in pursuit of this illusive female.
